Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From Japan: Notice of Court Decision Not in Harmony With the Final Results of the Antidumping Duty Administrative Review; Notice of Amended Final Results On March 26, 2024, the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT) issued its final judgment in Optima Steel International, LLC v. United States, Court No. 1:23-cv-00108 (CIT March 26, 2024), sustaining the U.S. Department of Commerce's (Commerce) final remand results pertaining to the antidumping duty administrative review on certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan, covering the period of review (POR) October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021. Commerce is notifying the public that the CIT's final judgment is not in harmony with the final results of the administrative review, and that Commerce is amending its final results.

Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From Australia, Brazil, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, the Republic of Turkey, and the United Kingdom: Final Results of the Expedited Sunset Reviews of the Antidumping Duty Orders As a result of these expedited sunset reviews, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the antidumping duty (AD) orders on certain hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from Australia, Brazil, Japan, the Republic of Korea (Korea), the Netherlands, the Republic of Turkey (Turkey), and the United Kingdom would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping as indicated in the "Final Results of Sunset Review" section of this notice.

Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From Japan: Correction to Final Results of Antidumping Duty Changed Circumstances Review The Department of Commerce (Commerce) is correcting the final results of the changed circumstances review of the antidumping duty order on certain hot-rolled steel flat products from Japan to state the actual rate in effect for Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) on the date that those final results published.
Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From Japan: Notice of Final Results of Antidumping Duty Changed Circumstances Review On July 19, 2019, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) published its notice of initiation and preliminary results of a changed-circumstances review (CCR) of the antidumping duty (AD) order on certain hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from Japan. In that notice, Commerce preliminarily determined that (1) Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC) is the successor-in-interest to Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC); (2) Nippon Steel Nisshin Co., Ltd. (Nippon Nisshin) is the successor in interest to Nisshin Steel Co., Ltd. (Nisshin Steel); and (3) Nippon Steel Trading Corporation (NSTC) is the successor in interest to Nippon Steel & Sumikin Bussan Corporation (NSSBC). Additionally, Commerce preliminarily determined that NSC, Nippon Nisshin, and NSTC should be treated as a single entity, and should receive the same AD cash deposit rate with respect to the subject merchandise as NSSMC, the predecessor company. No interested party submitted comments regarding the initiation and preliminary results. For these final results, Commerce continues to find that NSC is the successor-in-interest to NSSMC.
Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From Japan: Notice of Initiation and Preliminary Results of Antidumping Duty Changed Circumstances Review In response to a request from Nippon Steel Corporation (NSC), the Department of Commerce (Commerce) is initiating a changed- circumstances review (CCR) of the antidumping duty (AD) order on certain hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from Japan and preliminarily finds that NSC is the successor-in-interest to Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC) and is assigning to NSC the same AD cash deposit rate that Commerce has assigned to NSSMC in this proceeding.
