CBP Corrects FD07 Drawback Validation, §301 Brazil and Forced Labor Duty Codes Are Drawback Eligible

CBP corrected its August 14 notice (CSMS 69535943) on the ACE drawback error dictionary. On August 12, 2026 CBP had deployed FD07 validation updates that disallowed drawback claims on HTSUS 9903.05.01 (§301 duties on certain products of Brazil) and 9903.05.20 through 9903.05.84 (§301 forced labor import duties). The correction states that both groups of classifications are drawback eligible, that the FD07 validations have been fixed in production to allow drawback on them, and that the Drawback Error Dictionary in the ABI CATAIR has been updated to match.
