Commerce Issues Second Amended Scope Ruling on Chinese Aluminum Extrusions (Meridian Door Handles)

Following a Federal Circuit remand, Commerce determined that the extruded aluminum component of Meridian Products' Type B door handles falls within the scope of AD/CVD orders on aluminum extrusions from China (A-570-967/C-570-968), while plastic end caps and screws do not. The CIT sustained this redetermination on April 6, 2020, prompting issuance of the second amended final scope ruling.
