Commerce Finds Mexico HCS Wire Imports Circumventing AD Order on PC Strand (A-201-831)

Commerce preliminarily determined that high carbon steel wire imported from Mexico and assembled into prestressed concrete steel wire strand in the US circumvents the existing AD order on PC strand from Mexico (A-201-831). Suspension of liquidation applies to covered HCS wire imports on or after July 31, 2023, with a certification requirement also imposed.
