The Department of Commerce is renewing the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee (REEEAC) to guide development of programs and policies boosting U.S. export competitiveness in clean energy technologies, including solar, wind, hydrogen, and smart grid systems. The committee's scope excludes vehicles, biofuel feedstocks, and consumer/building efficiency, while covering non-fossil low-carbon fuels and climate solutions such as clean energy transport and virtual power plants.
