A NAFTA Article 1904 binational panel granted a stay of proceedings in dispute USA-CDA-2017-1904-03, halting all deadlines including the final determination pending a mandate from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Stupp Corp. v. United States (No. 23-1663). The stay was sought by Canadian government parties and major lumber producers including Canfor, Resolute FP Canada, Tolko, and West Fraser Mills.
