Commerce Initiates CVD Investigations on Steel Rebar from Algeria, Egypt, and Vietnam

The U.S. Department of Commerce has initiated countervailing duty investigations (C-721-002, C-729-806, C-552-854) on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria, Egypt, and Vietnam. The investigations will examine whether foreign government subsidies are enabling below-cost exports of rebar into the U.S. market.
