Commerce Initiates Covered Merchandise Inquiry on Chinese OCTG AD/CVD Evasion

The U.S. Department of Commerce has initiated a covered merchandise inquiry after CBP referred an evasion investigation involving oil country tubular goods (OCTG) subject to existing AD/CVD orders on Chinese imports (A-570-943, C-570-944). Commerce will determine whether the merchandise in question falls under the orders and is accepting comments and factual submissions from interested parties.
