Commerce Sets U.S.-Content Submission Rules for USMCA Medium- & Heavy-Duty Vehicle Tariff Relief

Under Presidential Proclamation 10984 (Oct. 17, 2025), additional national-security tariffs were imposed on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, parts, and buses, USMCA-qualifying importers may submit U.S.-content documentation to Commerce to potentially reduce tariff exposure. This notice establishes the formal procedures for filing and review of such documentation.
