The International Trade Administration published a notice amending the procedures for administering import adjustment offset amounts for automobile parts under Proclamation 10908/10925, extending them to cover medium- and heavy-duty vehicle (MHDV) parts pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 10984 (Oct. 17, 2025). Domestic manufacturers of MHDVs may now claim import adjustment offsets for MHDV parts and automobile parts imports. The notice also excludes certain heavy-duty vehicle 'limited production operations' from offset calculations, with further amendments for automobiles and medium-duty vehicles to follow.
