CIT Orders Jurisdiction Briefing in Ta Chen Protest Denial Challenge

Judge Eaton lifted the stay sua sponte in Ta Chen International's CIT action contesting denied customs protests and ordered parties to show cause on jurisdiction under 19 U.S.C. § 1514(a) and 28 U.S.C. § 1581(a). Briefs are due August 12, 2026, with a hearing set for August 13, 2026.
