USTR Proposes 12.5% Tariff on Singapore Over Forced Labor Enforcement, FTA Relationship at Stake

The USTR proposed 12.5% tariffs on Singapore and 53 other countries in July 2026, alleging failures to enforce prohibitions on goods made with forced labor, Singapore has rejected the allegations.
