The President issued a notice continuing the national emergency first declared under IEEPA to secure the Information and Communications Technology and Services (ICTS) supply chain from foreign adversary threats. The continuation preserves executive authority to restrict or prohibit ICTS transactions that pose undue national security risks. This annual renewal is required under the National Emergencies Act and sustains Commerce Department ICTS transaction review authority.
