FTZ 18 Authorizes Tesla Battery Storage Production in Fremont, Livermore & Lathrop, CA

The FTZ Board has authorized Tesla, Inc. to conduct production activity under Foreign-Trade Zone 18 for battery storage products and components at three California facilities. This authorization allows Tesla to benefit from inverted tariff relief and deferred duty payment on imported inputs used in domestic manufacturing.
