MARAD Solicits Comments on Foreign-Built Vessel M/V SILENT RUNNING for U.S. Coastwise Trade

MARAD has received a request to permit the foreign-built small passenger vessel M/V SILENT RUNNING to operate in U.S. coastwise trade carrying up to 12 passengers for hire. MARAD is soliciting public comments to assess whether granting this determination would adversely affect U.S. vessel builders or coastwise trade businesses using U.S.-built vessels.
