What changed
A Federal Register proclamation (Doc. 2026-18836, Sept. 14, 2026) directs the exclusion of certain Canadian products from importation into the United States in response to Canada's continued discrimination against US dairy commerce. The action invokes authority under §122 of the Trade Act of 1974 and represents a targeted import restriction on Canadian goods, likely including dairy or dairy-adjacent.
