Presidential Notice, Continuation of National Emergency - Syria (2026-20322)

The President issued a notice continuing the national emergency with respect to Syria, originally declared under Executive Order 13338. This annual continuation, published October 2, 2026, preserves the legal basis for OFAC's Syria sanctions program and associated trade restrictions, including the near-comprehensive embargo on trade with Syria under the Syrian Sanctions Regulations.
