The U.S. International Trade Commission has scheduled expedited five-year reviews to determine whether revoking the existing antidumping and countervailing duty orders on non-oriented electrical steel (NOES) from China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Sweden, and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury. The reviews are conducted pursuant to 19 U.S.C. 1675(c). NOES is a critical input for electric motors, generators, and transformers used across the energy and manufacturing sectors.
