USTR Opens Exclusion Request Process for §301 China Tariffs (List 1)

USTR published procedures allowing U.S. stakeholders to request product-specific exclusions from §301 tariffs imposed on Chinese imports under the technology transfer and IP investigation. Requests must demonstrate that the tariff causes severe economic harm or that the targeted product is not available outside China.
