USTR opens extension review of safeguard duties on crystalline silicon solar cells

USTR is reviewing whether to extend Section 201 safeguard tariffs on imports of certain crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells beyond their current term. The agency is soliciting public comments and holding a hearing to evaluate continued necessity of the protective measure.
