USTR has initiated the second statutory four-year review of the two §301 tariff actions against China that took effect July 6 and August 23, 2018, opening 60-day windows for domestic industry representatives to request continuation before each action's anniversary. If continuation requests are received, USTR will proceed to a public-comment phase to determine whether the tariffs remain in force.
