USTR Imposes §301 Tariffs on 60 Economies Over Forced Labor Import Prohibition Failures

USTR has determined that 60 economies' failure to prohibit importation of forced-labor goods is actionable under §301, imposing 10% duties on economies with forced labor import bans or ART commitments and 12.5% on all others, net of MFN rates where specified. TRQs will be established for Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Malaysia to incentivize sourcing of U.S. cotton and textile inputs.
